Many know Kate from her time at the Fuquay-Varina Chamber of Commerce where she served first as Membership Director and ultimately as Executive Director. During her nearly 6 years there she made incredible connections & discovered a passion for the people & the projects she worked with.

Kate is a communicator, a people-person, & a small business champion. She worked in the corporate engineering world for over a decade and as a licensed financial advisor alongside her father in his small business for more than 3 years. It was a volunteer opportunity as an Apex chamber ambassador on behalf of that family business that led her to fall in love with nonprofit & small business life.

Kate is a Fuquay-Varina resident and has two young boys that she is dedicated to giving her time to so you may not always find her in the office, but when you do, there will be a warm welcome waiting for you!
